Joint effort of the group leaded by Diego Sanchez (Universidad de Valladolid-CSIC) and the group of Juan Manuel Falcón-Pérez (CIC bioGUNE, Derio) to demonstrate how Apolipoprotein D is exclusively transported by EVs from astrocytes to neurons. This knowledge opens the door to new research on therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases.
